Hey there

Post by ESPER_996 »

Have had my Firestorm for a while now but due to work commitments haven't been able to use it. Luckily a break in work has coincided with the sunshine and I have been able to get a few miles in. First impressions are good, love the engine, and the stability, struggling a bit with the riding position coming from 10 years of bikes with flat bars but nothing a few more miles won't sort out. Looking forward to being part of the forum.

Welcome to the team. Lucky that you get time off in weather like this, I get to sit in a office with no air con :(

Like darkember said, flat bars on a storm is an easy mod and gives you the best of both worlds

Thanks for the warm welcome. I would possibly consider risers but want to keep the clip ons as the main reason for getting the Firestorm was to do the sports bike thing before I get too old or inflexible to rise one :) I got 80 odd miles in yesterday and am starting to fit the bike a bit better now,in spite of the heat!
