Carbon exhaust wrap. Good or bad?
Carbon exhaust wrap. Good or bad?
Anyone tried carbon exhaust wrap on a storm? Advantages and disadvantages? Does it go on easily! Does it wear well or deteriorate quickly! Any problems with heat? Does it look good in your opinion?

Not got carbon wrap but ive got fibreglass wrap on my headers, cant tell you about any performance gain but it looks trick, goes on easy with the pipes off the bike (start from the rear) but smokes abit for the first few miles after fitting!
The rear header runs close to the shock and linkage so i fitted it to cut down on heat damage, you really can touch wrapped pipes straight after a ride. Warm, but not hot enough to do damage to you or the shock.

Castrol 10w40 runs deep in my veins- i skin'd my knuckles doing my CCTs.
