Sadly selling the vtr

Post by banksy »

:( :(

I know I have only just got the vtr but after the dust has settled over the last week,
I have decided I cannot currently enjoy a bike at the moment.
Martin was going to be helping me with a few bits and pieces and mods so it all feels a bit strange for now.
The bike is an awesome piece of kit and is very very clean and tidy
I bought it for £1500 and it needs a front tyre,i've got a scrub for it ready to go on.

Sorry to hear the news banksy but I can understand why you are selling up. I did have a little look at it on Friday and it does look nice, for a yellow one

Wish you best of luck with the sale. Maybe one day you will get yourself another bike.

Sorry to hear that Banksy & as Ck said I also understand. However, if Martin were able to intervene he would definitely be in disagreement.

Well appointed bike for that money fella. I can understand why the shine has been taken off it for the time being.
Good luck with the sale.

its a shame to get rid, but given the circumstances I can understand where you are coming from.

I had a quick look at it on friday and it is a cracking bike and was well looked after with all the right mods fitted, so for £1500 it is a steal for some one.

If you do decide to keep it then I am sure we can help you do all the project mods you had lined up

Don't do it Banksy. Keep it. Sorn it if you need to but keep it. Its worth more than £1400. If I hadn't bought the tuono and was still looking I would have offered £1900 and I'm a cheeky fooker!

What would Martin say?

He'd be saying something along the lines of me being a puff !
I'm appeasing the mrs too cos she's not happy at the moment
I got knocked off last year by white van man and didn't have a bike for 18 months and this was my return
She's just really worried and stressing about it,am getting an off road enduro though to tick me over. :D
I shall return to road bikes soon enough though.
And I pretty much decided it'll be a vtr with flat/riser bars for sure.

£1400 just to vtr site members

That's very generous. I'd bit your had off if I had the cash. Good luck with the sale.

Ah the old "Off road bike" ploy  It certainly don't cost so much when you fall off

Watch this. Funny as fook!

its worth way more than 1400, stick it on thebay for 1800/1900 and accept offers....if you feel like you don't want anymore than what you paid for it, any extra you make you could stick in the memorial fund.....
