Re: front ends
All I know is, my front end goes Boing Boing! I think Honda made the rear shock to hard & the front not firm enough for average weighted riders.
I'm certainly looking at improving my front end over this winter, having only had my storm for a couple of months I'm still getting used to it & slowly going through my (ever growing) to-do list.
Some people go for oil and spring replacements in the standard forks, some demand a bit more performance and adjustability so therefore the Blade forks make a good upgrade.
The VFR forks, I have heard are a step backwards from the VTR due to it being a touring focused bike, without any track like performance designed into it.
There are plenty of topics covering front ends as I've recently discovered, all depends on your performance requirements and of course how deep your pockets are!
Wish I was going on a ride out, most of my old biking buddies have sold the bikes due to keeping the peace with partners. I sold my missus to keep the peace with my bikes

Re: front ends
So if you have deep pockets and are track focused you would change the front end, and if you have shallow pockets (like me) and just use your bike on the road, change the springs and oil?

P. S. I sold the Misses years ago, and now have two bikes!!!!

Re: front ends
VFR folk swap VTR forks in for the extra choices in adjustability.
A bit like going to to your local shop (VFR) and only having a choice of 5 breakfast cereals, while the supermarket (VTR) has 20, and the hypermarket (CBR) has 40 (plus snazzier packaging).

It may be that your whole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.

I remember lucky charms from my yoof! Mainly sugar based, needless to say they were banned in my house very quickly!
