polish out the "not for road use" badge and fit some generic baffles .
art cans are one of the loudest end cans you can get and need repacking offten to help keep the noise to an expectable level .

do you have any pics of the cans/ link pipes

Depends on the MOT tester - easy just to fit standard cans for the test then revert back to musical pipes afterwards.

Sometimes they offer to polish off the NFRU stamp for you....
It may be that your whole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.

suggest you take it for an MOT and see if they pass it. I stopped swapping to standard cans for MOT years ago and have never had any problems

Having recently asked the very same question to a mate who MOT's bikes for a living this is what he told me...

If the cans are stamped with "Not for road use" or "Race use only" then he will instantly fail them.

If there is no words whatsoever on them then its at the testers discretion but he always passes them with advisories if they are noisy.

If its got the BS stamp then he will just pass them.

He did say that even if he knows the words are removed then he will usually just class them as ones with no writing unless the exhaust is stupidly noisy and then he would tell the person to go away, get some baffles in then come back.

my local mot station doesn't care, the louder the better......
if theres any markings that read, not for road use or race use only, just get a dremmel and polish it out, very easy to do....

Our MOT tester doesn't care. His logic on MOT's are that if it is something like coloured lights or loud exhausts then we'd only change it for the MOT and change it back to how it was when we get home. Thus he pretends they're normal. He's cool

Just the case of finding a good MOT tester near you really, I suppose they're hidden everywhere

My stubbied viper carbon cans are pretty loud ,and have not for road use stamped on them I cover this with a sticker they are not allowed to touch it and so pass them with an advisory for being loud.

That's how it's done  my exhausts have the 'not' filled in so they just read 'for road use'
Bs kite mark doesn't come into it so just cover the 'not' or not for road use with a sticker or even a big jubilee clip and its pass and advise.
