Don't be jealous of the awesomeness  Why is it not useable?

Virt,
Simpson Helmets do not have all the "test" regulations required to be used in the UK....
Sucks as they are great helmets and favoured by car racing drivers, ala The Stig.
Don't hassle me
I'll get there at some time

Well I actually tested out my favorite helmet.....

It did do a fine job but I haven't been able to afford to replace it yet so right now I'm using an Arai Profile but I don't have any pics of it

Bloody hell, I made sure the heating was on and everything before taking the photo. Ill have to discard it as it got the wrong end of the helmet.

Nice graffic's, comfy & easy to use visor replacement.

Tested in 30mph impact with the back of a van...notice the crack...did it's job as head survived undamaged although some would say otherwise...

this is good to know as i was going to buy one this winter.

Is it that they don't have the gold sticker for track use???

they pass the snell tests which is tougher than our uk test so it's down to personal choice really.

It not my pic. I just used the ebay pic from when I bought it. My lid looks a little be more worn in now.

That is the madness of this Country Snell should be accepted on the road but if there are no BS tests then it's not legal for road use.

It's all a load of bollox anyway and totally irrelevant, look what happened to Benny or others. They will bring out laws for us to wear a helmet walking down the street next, just in case we trip over the paving slabs. Actually why don't we wrap ourselves in cotton wool and wear a medieval knights armour.

And thanks for clarifying that GrumpfyFrog, I had no idea. Sounds like a stupid reason though
