The gold colouring on the ZX-10R forks I installed in the spring has been bothering me from day one, so I decided to do something about it last night. I had bought some semi-gloss black vinyl wrap and...... behold!

I was wondering where you got your hangers from? hubby needs to make new ones for mine to sit more streamlined to the fairing..

Hangers are from Jardine and come with their hi-mount slip-ons. I ordered a set directly from them and had them powdercoated. As for the rad scoops, I sold them; the bike had been running overly cool, so I tried it without any scoops and it works great, no overheating or overcooling (I am running a larger oil cooler, Samco hoses and an inline cooler though, as well as using Engine Ice coolant.....)

Anyone would think it got hot over there :-) .
Don't suppose you have any pics of them off the bike as I might try a make some being as they cost a fortune new

Sorry Lloydie.... have a look at the Durbahn site, he has a few up there. The are a somewhat complex shape. For much less money, try an in-line cooler: http://www.ebay.com/itm/POLARIS-RZR900- ... _234wt_917

I believe this is the exact one I am using (check the diameter to be sure; easy to install, cut the line and slip it in). I have mine painted with heat dispersant paint. It and Engine Ice coolant and you likely won't need the scoops (mine is running 12.2:1 compression, with an HRC ignition and no issues)...... A larger oil cooler (and removal of chin fairing) help too

That cooler looks interesting :)
I already have a sp1 oil cooler I've never had it high up the temp gauge but I was thinking of them for the track bike , I might just have to wait to see if I need to do extra to help the temp
Thanks for the info and the link

You may be able to fit two of said coolers ont he lower hose, or one long one (like linked) and a shorter one....
