manual tensioners

Post by dansrockin »

hi all, after debating the different options, I am going to get some manual tensioners for my storm. I wanted some of bazzas but he hasn't got any available at the min, so im thinking of going for kreigers as they seem to get the best reports on here.
there is a set on ebay from the us at the min, for around £38 a pair, plus £16 postage. I know I will have to pay some import charges on top, im guessing at that value it will just be vat of around £12? I know there is a European distributor for kreiger in Holland, but they look like they are coming in at around £10-15 more than the us ones, even with the us import vat added. is this right?
which is likely to be the fastest delivery? I know its the wrong time of year for fast deliveries, but im off for a week now and if I could get some in the next few days it would be a bonus!!
cheers

Email Rob in Flatland to see if he's got any Kriegers in stock, and if so, how quick he can get them in the post. As he's in the EU there's no added import tax as he's already dealt with that,

I emailed him direct off his site, but not heard anything yet. I see I don't have to pay import tax on the ones from holland, but they still work out a bit more pricey than the ones from the us, even when you add on the import tax.
I'm guessing it might be better to get them from holland anyway, just incase h&m customs decide to play silly buggers!

You can find him on the storm owners facebook page too, he might check that more often.

Cheers, I'll contact him on fb.
I had a look on eBay but the only uk ones I could see are apes and they are quite a bit more expensive.
Thanks
