Just replaced my Pilot Sports for Diablo's ...
The Pilot's look Ace on the bike and give plenty of grip, not great in the wet though. I mean they are fine but did not inspire.
The Diablo's feel much better - I don't notice any difference in the wet or dry :) .... They are like Frosties ... GGGGggrrrrrrreat!

Nice one, Cheers Bink! Diablos cheaper too. Looked at a Mich Sport 180 rear at lunch time there listed at 215 + VAT. Saucy.

Yeah they are pricy alright ... Pilot Power's are supposed to be excellent Ted!

What about that Spanish crowd - do they do normal prices?

here's a pic of my bike with the Auld Rubber:

Go over to the left picture and it has the promo speel there.
They look good, sound great, but if they only last 100 miles whats the point!!

I have D208's ( yeah, I know you all hate them) on since August, and have done 3100 miles on them and they look like new. Bearing in mind mine gets daily abuse to and from work, and weekend abuse to the red line regularly. Now, maybe if I tried them on a track day I'd bin it, but the Metzlers I had on last only stayed on for about 2800 miles before the canvas was showing! Same roads, same riding too. Got the rear for 160 Europs fitted, so all in all a damned good deal!

The Spanish guys do great prices, I have left it with them saying that I'll want a set of Sports, and I'll mail them when I need them. Considering they can do a set of Diablos for (if I remember correctly) about 200 notes adding 20 for delivery, then the Sports should come within reach.
Roll on the bike show in Dublin where last year they were almost giving away the tyres on the last day of it. Pete in Dublin was at it and the bargains were amazing.
