Hi Chris, Got an address for him so went over to him with the bearings yesterday He took the sizes and then never got back to me, so I contacted him and he said he said he was struggling with the getting the seals, so I just left it at that

Do you bearings actually need changing ie hammer damaged from stubborn/seized bolts, broken loose bearing rollers. Or are you replacing them for the sake of replacing them as you have everything apart. If they are no damaged and all the rollers spin freely, then why not just clean them up, re-grease and put it all back together. Or have you already removed the old ones and destroyed them in the process.

Hi, Just changing them because I was having the rear arm powder coated, But when I checked the bearings on the arm they where quite rough so thought it better to replace whilst all apart, The bike has done 30k and don't know if they have ever been changed

They have a set for £49 on EBay, there not genuine but paying £195 is going to be your only alternative.

I had a little look to see if I could find a descent quality bearing elsewhere online without much luck, it seems these bearings are not a common size, so it must be the same thing for the seals.

Think Jamie has recently done his swinger bearings! Might be worth seeing where he got he's?

I think I replaced all the linkage bearings and seals with aftermarket items found by punching the part codes into ebay.

As for the main pivot bearings and seals, I don't think they were listed on david silvers but I made a note of all the part numbers and gave them a ring, a helpful old chap noted them all down and ordered them in for me. Totalled around £50 iirc.

With bearings and seals, I wouldn't personally go for genuine, as I'm happy with the quality of the aftermarket items avaliable.

I'm sorry, I no longer have the list of part numbers but you can see what you need on the swingarm microfiche.
