glueing

Post by ging500 »

Hey

I need to glue a rubber boot/gaiter to a wire. The application is a rubber cover that covers the spark plug to the ht lead on my sv, does anybody know of a suitable glue??

Can you not fit the boot, cover with a suitable size of heatshrink and shrink down?

Your best option I reckon if you can

 possibly too hot an environment for a heatshrink? we slice them with a knife then heat them up to get them off at work

If you dont put a nick into the heatshrink it will be fine as it can only shrink down onto itself. Glued heatshrink seals even better.
