if it is standard sidestand then it isn't leaning over to far compared to mine [which is jacked up at the back] so I would say it looks normal.

is it your new seat that is making it feel different?

I think it's your seat also. I think it's just a case of you having to get used to the new feel of things, Seat, rearsets etc. Don't expect it to feel the same as before. As long as it feels better then all is good.

this bugs me constantly. but thus far i havnt seen any aftermarket longer side stands for the VTR or anyone come up with a reasonable solution.

CBR1000x Blackbird stand. Fits straight on but has a really short prong so needs a mod...

Looks fine to me Chric, but I'd say the seat has quite a dramatic slope down towards the tank, which might explain why you feel like you're perched on a black run!

Might be the topbox.
Cocking your leg over the top of that is higher than you'd normally need to get your leg.

Had you noticed that it had been fitted since you last rode it??
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

I agree with Carl, it will take time to adjust. I'm sure you'll get there,

Chris.

Not top box tony have narrowed it down i think to a mixture of high levels mixed with harris rear sets set so foward so its choice between cans and sets.
So i have chose the cans are to go love the rearsets too much.
So i've put oem cans back on and will adjust the rearsets tomorrow as im working at 11pm tonight to miss the traffic in birmingham.
And a mixture of dodgey hips and kick boxing few years ago means i can clear the box like sean claud vandame
