Well as the red CBR/VTR/VTR Is ready for the road.
Times nearly up for my trusty yellow VTR.
And for a change I'm going to sell a bike having never sold one before.
My question is do I put it back to standard and sell the parts separately?
Parts to be removed.
FireBlade front brake master cylinder and lever setup.
FireBlade clutch cylinder and lever setup.
Double bubble screen
Give rack and top box.
Braded hoses all round.
Carbon cans.
Handlebar raisers.
I kept all the original parts and the only parts I won't remove are the manual CCT's
Not sure if I shud advertise it as std and give any one the chance to buy the extras or sell it as is?
Problem as I see it is that the modes are mine and others may not want or like them.
What do you guys think.

It'll sell for the same price in standard trim; pull the extras off and sell them separately.
Apart from cct's and possibly cans, mods don't improve the selling price.
And with cans fitted you pretty much have to supply a set of std ones as well, so why bother?

It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

That's also my train of thought.
I've decided to put the CBR clutch and brake master cylinders with the FireBlade levers from the yellow one that we converted a few years ago at one of your workshop days and put them on to the hybrid and sell off all the other parts I've brought over the last 8 years.
Got my eye on another sports orientated twin

Drop me a PM to discuss what you are after?
Standard bike or with all the parts?

Hi styler, I'm looking for a Firestorm and I do like yellow ;) I'm not fussed about the levers but the other mods and luggage would suit me fine.
I don't seem to be able to PM, possibly because I'm a new member, do you have any pics/info?
