Renntec mounts

Post by Watty »

Could any of you guys please tell me, the bracket that runs across the subframe, do the threaded lugs go above or below the rear mounts for the tail plastics? Cheers, Watty.

Cheers Lloydie, so then the rear fixings for the tail plastics go through their original fixings and also pick up the thread on the Renntec mount?

Could be worth fabricating additional angle brackets. I only carry an old rectangular tank bag on mine and my mate who always follows, says it shook up and down a lot. I used 4mm steel and as it would be fiddly with nuts, put a thread in. Will try to get pictures.
