Fairing
Hi All, When putting the fairing back on the bike is it better to put the nose cone on first and then the sides or is it better to put it all on as one piece, Thanks in advance

Re: Fairing
All on in one piece but you may want to either loosen or remove the little grub screws that hold the front piece on to the sides under the headlight. This allows you to spread the sides slightly as you slide it over the bike. Be careful sliding it on by the right side (your left if facing the front of bike) rad as the fan connector is on the end of the rad, so make sure you don't catch this and it falls inside the fairing.
I find it best to hold the fairing each side where the front side mounts bolt on and clip it over the mounting brackets and let it hang. Then connect your headlight and sidelight wires, lift the front up a bit and slot the rubber nodules in the holes in the fairing bracket. You may have to use a little force here depending on how tight your wiring is up front! Put the front side bolts in and then the rear ones. Then deal with your mirrors and indicator wires

Oh and something else. I don't know if you have noticed, but there are two bendy wire clips on the bottom of the front bracket on the inside either side of the headlight. These are for when you have long indicator wires you can fold up the wire tuck them in and bend the clips over them to hold them in place.

I also tape up any areas on the fairing that are likely to be scuffed on mounting brackets etc whilst fitting. Anal I know but saves the paintwork

SH#T HAPPENS!!!!!!!!
