seat damaging tank

so the seat is damaging to tank its rubbing the folded edge removing paint and causing rust
whats the best thing to do to stop this, cut the seat ,rubber edging ??
anyone got the same problem

Should be rubber edge protection on there mate if it's where I'm thinking of :?

edging is gone but the hard plastic inside the seat is cutting into the tank and will probably cut the rubber as well
does the seat rub your tank or is there a gap :thumbup:

My seat does pretty much touch the tank but not to the point of rubbing paint off :? . Post up some pics mate :thumbup:

You can bend the securing loops a little rearwards to reduce the forward pressure onto the tank. Makes it easier to remove the seat, too..
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

Or put some clear protective tape on the tank to protect it.

Angle grinder to shave a few mm off either seat or tank...
It may be that your whole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.

Make sure the tank is empty of course and always wear eye protection.

i have turned on the electric fence
doubled up on the guards
and set the lazer from stun to kill :Gun3:
