Hi all the rebuild is going well after the cct failure still a few more parts and she will be back on the road .
However while the bike is in bits I've been thinking about a polished frame or should I say been offered a frame already polished . What's the general thought amongst current owners .
I quite like the idea of a bit of bling but thinking I may regret it in the long run .
The bike is 100% standard apart front the cct.

Depends if you like stripping the bike and polishing it often. I like the look of it but I could not keep up with the up keep. Personally I would have it painted

I know what you mean ....
I like the idea of a highly polished frame but could I be arsed to pull it apart on a regular basis just to keep it clean .A finger print would annoy me to the point I would have to wipe it off .
Painted option from what I've seen look good .I've painted the 2 rads black as the small amount of rust on the front done my head in . But in all honesty I quite like the brushed look as standard .but can't help thinking I'll regret not doing it but also wishing I hadn't touched it in the first place .

What colour is the bodywork? Some colours work better with others but it's down to personal choice.
