Got these used (for 2007+ CBR600RR) on eBay for a little over half price, said to have only 700 miles...... Should mount right up to the front (will need new carriers for CMC rotors; will finance by selling off the Galfers) as I am using triples from same bike. From what I have read, fitting the rear will involved new spacers (larger 25mm axle; need a new sprocket too, of course).... I can recycle my Ti rotor bolts too.... big, big weight savings on the horizon......

My swing arm is at the engineers to have it opened up to take a 25 mm spindle for the 07 blade wheels . Sure you can just use different wheel bearings and new internal spacer but I wanted a more permeant fit .

another way of doing it. I will write Dymag and see what is involved in doign a simple wap to VTR1000 duty. AS they offer the wheel for the VTR too (am of the beleif that they are the same width), it;s likely just a simple spacer and/or bearing swap..... whicg permanent enough for me.......

Just did a quick calculation, and this should get me safely under the 400 lb wet barrier, with over 20 lb loss in spinning weight......

well, I got a decent deal on the price; was looking at a set of Galespeed Type-R forged aluminum and these came up about the same price.... hope there's a happy ending in it anyhow, don't much care for nasty (eBay) surprises, lol

On a more serious note, I am quite looking forward to fitting these and seeing how the bike reacts. Should be quite responsive in every way.

That, and I am finally nearing the end of my jetting adjustments following the installation of my modded airbox lid (waiting on some 40 pilots...... likes a lean bottom; quite responsive though and pulls very, very well......). Getting this sorted and adding the wheels (and CMC rotors) should make it quite entertaining to ride.....
