carb balance

Post by monkeymatt »

Hi .After a rebuild on both cylinders from cct failure .yes my backside was twitching pressing that magic button for the first time ....
I'm in need of a carb sync gauge to balance the carbs I wonder if there is anyone local to Southampton that I could possibly borrow from for a few hours .I have ordered some but seems to be taking ages for them to arrive .Thanks in advance :cool2

Runs fine sounds good but think carbs need setting up as pops and farts idle is not very smooth give or take a few hundred rpm set to 1100 ish

Check all your hoses and clamps etc first as an air leak can cause this. I suggest it that doesn't sort it, take it too Doubletale Motorcycles in Southampton, they will balance and check in 20 mins and get it running right for about £35.00 its well worth it.
missing the noise, not the vibes. However never say never!
