Odd I Know but CG125 Brazil wheels

Post by parkergb6 »

Morning Guys,
Just wondering if anyone knew of a set of wheels for a CG125 Brazil with drum brakes. My son is learning bike mechanics by restoring a CG125 on a G plate. he has completely rebuilt the engine and frame is going off for shot blasting and powder coating next week. The wheels are very corroded to extent chrome plating has broken away.
I'm hoping to find a non corroded set not worried if they are dirty. also looking for a non corroded set of rear shocks for it.
I'm keeping my eye on e-bay etc but most are either corroded or collection only and too far away from me ie Burnley.

I know its makes more sense to buy a different bike but he has taken so much effort cleaning polishing and rebuilding engine etc, I want his to see the fruits of his labour.

Thanks for listening guys.

Had checked on ebay but no one seems to be near me and those that ship are in same condition of those that I have ie corroded, was hoping someone on here might know someone.
Cant really fit VTR wheels to it.
Thanks

They don't look to bad. Why not strip em down, get em blasted + rechromed and with new stainless steel spokes learn how to relace it all back together. Or find someone to do it cheaply locally to you like here > http://www.vtr1000.org/phpBB3/viewtopic ... =0#p352097

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/HONDA-CG-CG12 ... 3f3c2ae7d3 It's a make offer and free postage - so could be yours for potentially £20 - £25 all in

Tekmotive in Welham Green re-laced the wheels on my lads Suzuki TS50x we rebuilt a couple of years ago -
