front fairing value

Post by dkt1376 »

im gonna be turning my storm into a streetfighter over winter and i was wondering what people are paying for a compleate front end?, it would be all the front fairings with db screen and any bolts it needs, including standard indicators, but it has been cut out for high rise bars. i may include the rear seat unit and tank aswell if i can get a tank to swap with it becauseit will be getting painted a different colour.
the only reason i ask is if they are cheap to pick up i will save it for the next project insted of selling.
cheers
dave

As it is cut that will reduce the price as it's only any good to someone who wants to do flat bar conversion.

Having said that what I do is check the Bay for prices & average it out then apply a Forum discount if I'm selling on here.

Colour & overall condition also comes in to it of course.

You could be right.

As most sensible people would repaint them to a better colour.

Or better still burn them & throw the remains down a disused coal mine.Image

That being said it would make them quite rare & therefore by default more expensive.

Which is a shame as no sensible person with a shred of taste is going to buy them + it would affect the price of proper coloured fairings.
