Adjustable bars for the T....

Post by Ckennedy »

After seeing Lloyd's new riding position yesterday with his adjustable bars yesterday it got me wondering......

With the bars being so high on the tuono it is obvious that resting your elbow on the tank is never going to happen. I was wondering......

Is there a bar out there that is adjustable for Fatboy bar risers or maybe ever a set of clip on style bars that fix where the risers do but have full adjustability to get the perfect position. I was thinking about getting some RSV clip one but that would be to extreme for me which is why I didn't get an RSV in the first place.

Like I say I'm after something that has a large adjustable range as trying to clear the tank and fairings will be fun but also if I want to quickly change my riding position it isn't going to involve fitting a completely different set of bars and taking half a day.

Your thoughts and ideas are appreciated as usual.

You could look here - http://www.discovolantemoto.co.uk/taroz ... -453-p.asp they fit on to the existing stanchions as per the Honda bars, but allow some movement. I've got a couple of these sets that I tried to use, but ended up with dents in my tank cos I'm a knob, lol. The theory is good, i just didn't manage to find a riding position that suited me, and now I'm completely happy with the Honda position...

It sounds to me like your all going high rise bars and then finding a way to bring them back down to clip on level. If you want maximum adjustabilty and comfort then there are not much better than the Apex bars, but they come at a cost. :eek2

I've only gone back to low bars as I'm testing the setup for piggy as that's what these yokes are for .
And notting down the suspension settings .
Tho I hope to do my acu licence before piggy is ready as this opens up all the cheap testing days and they are cheaper than track days :>
