Fazer 600 v ZX6R

So plainly a test carried out on private roads/airfield, from 0 to 130mph, who's your money on?

It seemed strange to me that with 95 bhp the Fazer isn't listed as having a higher top speed but on reflection a great deal is down to aerodynamics.

2 riders, both experienced quick riders, 0 to 130, Fazer v ZX6R?

No diference

Yep very happy with Fazer and I don't get a bad back hunched over the front wheel like on a ZX6R. Repeated test, same again, wheelies in 1st and 2nd and 130 was as quick as my test required, but both bikes were up for more!

Yep I rode one for a few years. It feels weird to sit on one now though after the VTR. I find the uprightness and weight of the Fazer uncomfortable now.

Fazer is hugely under rated imho. Im old so went to school on a Triton 5oo (er Im sure that's not legal at 16... ) my Kreidler moped sharing garage space, and since Ive had a host of bikes, but the Fazer? Its a brilliant bike! Tagged as a tourer its a close match for sports 600's and ... comfy

Im not ashamed to admit it gets a thrashing quite often but its just great. No, its not got the torque of a V2 but recommended all the same

i did 90,000 miles on my fazer, loved it so comfy.and reliable.
