they'll be collectors items...... you'll be able to tell you grand-kids "these were the stupid out dated things we used have on our motorbikes. Even though the details had been electronically accessible for years"

And i am sure the reply will be "what's a motorbike Granddad?"

Just seen that on the news. Apparently we will no longer be able to get Tax at the post office and it's all to be done online now :eek2 I guess it will take time for the transition of things.

Surely most people would avoid trying to tax your vehicle on the very first day of the new rules..........................................................................obviously not :problem:

No choice if it ran out 30/09/14...

Every 1st of the month the plod in Woolwich set up ANPR stings along the road that runs past Belmarsh prison...During bloody rush hour as well the gits...It amazes me that every 1st of the month they get a good selection of cars to pull over...You'd think that people would cotton on around here & either avoid the area or actually get taxed/MOT/insurance...oh hang on this is Woolwich most of 'em are on the bloody dole...& or stupid... NO English...''I no understand...''

I'm sure (okay not 100% but very close) you could tax a vehicle online before these new rules came into force up to all most 4 weeks before the old road tax expired, so no excuse really, but I know none of us want to part with the reddies before we have to

Yes you can tax up to 3 weeks before if you already have a running tax disc.

Did my car 2 weeks ago to start this month and the internet system was just fine..... In fact I haven't been in post office for tax disc for years, only ever use the interweb
