I remember them saying the pollution was getting bad in Central London recently, they said diesel vehicles were one of the main culprits IIRC. I've not seen very many diesel bikes.................................................. :wink:

That would be London Transport buses, the amount of crap they pump out of their exhausts. There's very few eco friendly buses. If they start charging congestion charges on bikes there will be wars. Muddy number plate time me thinks. This morning on the news I heard they are also making changes to the Dartford crossing. New ANPR style cameras, including foreign plates, and a pre paid system. This means all those folk that sit in the toll booths will be out of a job. :thumbdown:

Consultation completed, but I am sure it was a waste of time. The 24 hours a day bit proves its a con.
No doubt if the larger cities get their own tax raising powers this will roll out across the country.

This is shite, I work in Vauxhall and it takes me two hours each way to drive my 5 seat car in, so I thought I'd use the TRX from next year, screwed again....
