It may be that your whole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.

You can get a front lift kit to add to the abba stand. There is a video on the abba website. You end up with both wheels safely off the ground

Abba Front lift arm is what you are after.

Bit of a faff to setup those abba front lift stands especially if you don't have a rear bobbin to attach the strap to. They also require two people ideally. one to push the rear of the bike down whilst you tighten the strap, unless your super strong and have super grip to lift the front end of the bike up just by pulling/tightening the strap up.

Might as well use the jack then, no need for the abba front lift attachment at all. The only difference being the abba wont require the belly pan to be removed. Get someone to push the rear of the bike down and you can stick anything under the sump, just watch for the exhaust pipe on the right hand side. Personally I use bricks along with a standard abba stand mounted of the engine mount.

Then when you jack under the sump, the forks & swingarm can be removed simultaneously

Yep then when you want to remove the frame off the engine, remove the abba stand leaving the engine and frame sitting on the bricks or whatever is used. Remove frame leaving the engine sitting on bricks. Now where's the bike gone

Ok I'm trying this right now but not having much luck. I have the Abba stand mounted conventionally, the rear wheel, subframe and shock are off, obviously all bodywork too...

When I jack under the sump it simply lifts the Abba stand off the ground and pivots on the front wheel. Is the weight of the wheel keeping the front end down? If I remove it will the balance point sit back on the sump?

I could remove the Abba stand and lower the jack down so the sump is level, I imagine there will still be a lot of weight over the front though, maybe I've done things in the wrong order to keep weight where it needs to be.

Yes it is a balancing act, I usually remove the front wheel first which allows you to pivot the bike backwards using the weight of the rear wheel.

As you've got your subframe etc off, you may have to get creative with weights or hoist the front up from a beam or makeshift gallows
