aluminium (polish)

OK men i need to know your best way to polish alloy
when its polished the best way to protect it
do you use buffing wheels and paste ?

Depending on the deterioration of the ally! If it's rough wet and dry ( used wet ) then Autosol, then Belgom Alu and lots of elbow grease :D

Here in the USA we dry sand, then wet sand, then polish. Depending how rough it is, start with 320 to smooth it out, then 400, then 600, 800, 1000, then 1000 wet. After that i smear it with Mother's Mag and Aluminum Polish, then use a buffing wheel on an air rotary tool. I wipe it clean with an old cotton t-shirt, then stare at myself in the shine. If you did it right you should be able to pick pepper out of your teeth in the reflection :)

then after, spray GT85 on it and wipe with a cloth
missing the noise, not the vibes. However never say never!

Autosol for me then a we wipe over with a product called silvo. its kinda like cotton wool soaked in brasso. great stuff but hard to find, the tin i have must be 20 years old.
the older i get,the faster i was :lol:
