Haha, funny you say that.... Didn't realise that the '97 model didn't have the "Pairs Gubbins" system
, so I was having a gander last night, hoping that removing it would cure the splutter!.............. I have (for now, until I can get the bike dyno'd) put a standard K&N back in in place of the Pipercross 
, its not quite as pokey on top end now but its smoother!
