Flat bars, who'd you use?

Post by Watty »

As you've all seen this is probably my plan! Had a great response from you all on opinions etc. So what I'd like to know is, those that have done this, who'd you use, prices, service etc. Already had BTT's info  Cheers from the king of teal

I made my own top yoke conversion by fitting clamps to a stock firestorm yoke... Try and keep the bar 1" or less above the yoke. Then I used renthal ultra low bend street bars.

Thats the cheapest and a great option but make sure you position and bolt the risers correctly. Ive done this on a TRX before for my mate, it works great providing you check where to drill the yoke and fit the correct bolts beneath the yoke. Then fit Renthals etc. They were only fitted underneath with 2 x 10mm bolts but were and easy fit. Sorry no Pics of that .It was a few years ago.
missing the noise, not the vibes. However never say never!

Standard top yoke with Fazer 600 risers added here... Nice and cheap! :)

My top yoke started life as a CBR600 F2 aftermarket part. I believe a 600 Hornet uses the same forks, so by extension the top yoke may well fit.

Watching with interest as was thinking about either risers for standard clipons or a bar conversion of some type
