In the second and third photos you can just see the alloy chainguard - the first part in the new alloy hugger assembly. More pics to follow as I progress.

Did the full bafflectomy today, and have to report that it isn't that loud. It has more of a bass rumble, and at tickover sounds quite Ducati-esque, but it isn't 'law attracting' loud. Good mod!

Bling bling .
You have to fit them to both sides or it just looks silly and unbalanced.

it is taken from moto gp, where it protects front brake for accidental lever push from contact with another bike, no use for clutch. No point to want this thing to have balanced :-)

Of course they are on both sides.
I only took the picture of the LH as I thought it would be a bit superfluous to take 2 of essentially the same thing mirror imaged.

Oh, and I have a shorty brake lever on the other side too.

you like it, it´s fine. Each to his own, as you say. But function of this thing in moto gp was a bit different.

I can remember Jeremy McWilliams getting catapulted over the bars on the start finish straight a few moons ago when another rider jammed his brake lever on. Good old eurosport days with toby moody, dennis noyles and randy mamola, it's not like the old days :confused
