spot the diffrence

Post by roger64 »

HI I've been a member now for three months, I have read and used many " how to do" write ups and I have got on with quietly modify my bike in the background the most daunting task being swopping the CCT over after I had built up enough courage I tackled the job a great write up thanks Carl I didn't stick to it that rigidly as there weren't enough tea brakes in it for me and 3 hours a little bit ambitious especially with the extra tea brakes and double checking everything. I have had a forum member who was kind enough to offer help and answer any of my questions by text I don't want to embarrass by mentioning his name but thanks anyway Steve.
So this is what I purchased

This is how it looks now

I purchased these two from Ebay my apologies to the Blue Brotherhood and re sprayed them well they are still blue

Now this one I took great pride in I found the cheapest seat cowl I could yep you got it
Image
I tried rubbing it down but the wet and dry kept clogging up then I had an epiphany (it does happen occasionally ) Put it in the dishwasher would you adam and eve it came out a treat all the custard had washed off.
Image :erection:
I
have
taken
a
photo
of
all
the
bits
that
came
off
but
if
you
are
feeling
nauseous
get
a
paper
bag
handy
Image
This one may be to small to see so here they are the generator cover which was chewed up when I bought the bike I centre punched off and the chain tensioner screws the right hand side had seized no matter what I did I could not loosen it so drilled it out and re tapped aluminium and steel never a good mix

Constructive criticism welcome but banter expected !

I could make a better pair of exhausts out of two bake bean tins and a couple of tubes of cardboard
Looking for investors for my plan
my plan is to buy all the custard fairing bits of Ebay and re spray I can reduce the custard clan domination :Show elbow:

It took a while for me to see the word "Teal" spelt out using the parts. Was sat for 2 days wondering "why the heck did he write "we love"...

...and then it just jumped out at me. Must be on a go slow, as usually I'm quite quick to spot creative stuff like that.
If it ain't broken...f*ck about with it until it is.
