Well speedos lie,,,, they do ..
my top speed was 145.338 over the mile , so looking at 150 next time , but I don't want to blow this one up ,, so on the look out for another storm that could cope with such brutal treatment,,
However Ghandi (Andy) ran little Nc29 to it limits on track gearing, then up a tooth on the front sprocket,, gained 8 mph , too 126.376
both could do more :) :D

Love to take the bird to one of them to see what it can do when opened up (can't do it on the road ) .
Sounds like a good day out [THUMBS UP SIGN]

I know possibly the only place you can do it in England, Top speed days are usually Monday or Tuesday , no timing involved,, will be march when this up and running again, soon as I know the dates for next year, I'll let you know :D

what about removing the mirrors and the old trick of taping up all the fairing joins?

My right hand mirror seems to tuck itself in once the bike reaches 130 - - One minute I can see behind me, then when the bike hits almost 130 dead on, you can see it start to fold in. It's not the actual arm that folds....it's the mirror on the ball socket. Dunno what the fix is for it, short of packing it full o' silicone.

Better aerodynamics for you is to sit right back on the seat (so yer bums touching the raised part) and stick the chin of yer helmet on the tank. Takes a bit of getting used to in the neck department, and yer eyeballs straining to see anything at that angle...

Look like you had a blast (literally), and love that bikes colour. Is it Candy Apple Red?
If it ain't broken...f*ck about with it until it is.
