Valencia. What's your take?

Post by Flatline »

I reckon most people at the back will get out of the way and the rest wont put up too much of a fight and let him go past until he gets to the top guys that is

Should be ok up to 6th

What do you think?

It's a go-kart track, no really high speed stuff, depends on the weather as th how much grip there is.
If he can re-create the race from a few years back where he got a penalty, ten second in the pit box, I think, then just took off, went past everyone, he could do it. But I think he won't.
That was when he was young and couldn't believe that anyone could beat him, he knows different now.

It all depends on whether he's angry enough- at himself.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

MM to take JL out at the first cornner...I'd pay good money to see that.

Rossi will prob fall off on his own coz he's be laughing to much to see...& be champ by default.

I hope they all get out of his way and let him up to the front guys. They are all racers though and probably won't. I should think that they would love to see it on their cv that they beat Rossi. M.M. has certainly fecked this season up.
SO WHEN DOES THIS OLD ENOUGH TO KNOW BETTER KICK IN

I reckon he'll be up to 6th too, probably by the first corner. The Spaniards are all good here, Dani especially. Front row will be Dani, MM, JL with MM letting JL through on the first corner.

Then one of two things will happen:
1) Rossi ends up in a big fight with MM loses it and they both go down.
2) Rossi's smart and gives it a few laps to show MM has pace then ends up in a big battle which he loses by binning it or being pipped for 3rd.

Either way he loses the championship, which I'd love him to win, but I can't see it coming good for him. At least option 2 leaves him the bigger man (slightly) with evidence that MM was interfering.

Rossi does get up there but only as far at MM and JL. Pedrosa would let him go past i reckon. However i think MM will do anything to stop VR passing him to get to JL.

Id love JL to bin it but be ok, just fecking lose the title. VR rolls in a bit later but wins. Then take MM round the back and deck the twot.

My 2p worth.
Whatever the outcome for the final race of the season is, this years Moto GP championship has been ruined for me regardless of who's in the right or wrong.
Things like this are certainly not doing the sport any favours.

As for the race, if Rossi's penalty is not lifted, meaning he will have to start from the back of the pack, he only has about four or five bikes that are going to give him any problems, most of the rest are slower than his bike,

Chris.

I been watching the practice.
Looks like the usual suspects at the top of the timing chart. This last battle is going to way different from what I had hoped. I wanted to see Rossi and Lorenzo battle it out, now it looks like it's going to be Dani, Mark and Lorenzo at the front and the race will be to see how far up the rankings Rossi can get. :sad2

I think the results going to be Mark, Lorenzo, Dani. Rossi must take 4th to get the title
