Finally bought a 'classic'

Well, I eventually plumped for this...may be not everyone's cup of tea or idea of a 'classic' but it reminds me of my youth...at the time I had a 1970 Honda 250 and thought the Kawis were wicked.
It's a 1975 250 SIC....4,500 miles from new....
Probably won't keep it for long, but fancied something to polish, with the 'Storm tucked away...

Still with original pipes, so it'll be snapped up when you decide to sell it.
You'll need to join the VJMC, if you haven't already.

Brakes will be shite though, compared to more modern stuff...and hopefully it's not still on original tyres.

nice one the triple pipes on these always looked the part.last time i was at hartside cafe there was a 750 and a 500 parked together.great looking bikes

Those are so great! There is nothing like that sound (or the smell.) I had one that was the 400cc version.

. its worth it for the sound and smell alone.getting very hard to find those early drum brake models now.

Thanks folks...yep, I got lucky and my patience paid off. It's very original and unrestored, but in lovely condition. Only makeover is the professional respray in the original Candy Halibut Blue...it's a very high end job and looks fab. I've attached some of the detail pics to show how clean it is...
