art cans problem can you help

i have just fitted some new art cans and have a problem with the chain touching the left hand link pipe,when the bike is unladen ,when i sit on the bike its clear by 1 cm has anyone had this problem maybe i need another link pipe not sure?

If you listen to a muppet like me I'll just tell you to fit it properly or tighten the chain a bit more

I had this problem when I fitted the ARTS to my baby......just ended up moving the link pipe round very slightly.
The chain still sits on the pipe when it's stood, but as soon as I get on it, it clears the pipe.

make sure your chain is correctly adjusted too.....it maybe a bit slack?
