Post by tony.wilde1 »

OK i know theres quite a few of us down south and the prospect of riding 400miles to meet everyone is too far.so i propose a southern meet at boxhill in surrey..half way between london and south coast.how about it? :D say june /july time?

Aw come on !
I ride from Middlesbrough to Brands each year and only get to see flat, boring landscapes and the odd tasty promo girl ! :D ( Although there are some good roads )
Scenery ( if you dare take your eyes off the road ! ), in the Lake District is awesome !
Come on up ! Dare ya ! Southern softies !!!!

What news of a meet up?

Why don't we just set a date and location and see who shows?

I'm pondering setting up a local club to West London, Bucks, Berks. Does anyone know if one already exists, (don't want to stamp on anyone's toes!!!)

New tyres, new MOT, race cans back on, new sliders, just need to save up for some fuel now !!

Here's a couple of ideas

30th April 1st may, the BMCRC (club racing championship is at Brands, on Sat & Sun (loads of info on BMCRC web site http://www.bemsee.co.uk/.

It's usually a tenner or so to get in and there's a full days racing, not too many crowds, thought anyone who fancies going could meet up somewhere on the way and ride down there watch some really close racing

Any takers?

Alternatively Box-Hill on a Sunday morning/afternoon gets quite busy, good place to meet for a run to Brighton

A couple of us are planning a mett this Sat and ride-out somewhere if anyone's around
