Gorgeous. A deservedly iconic design. The shape hasn't seemed to have aged like most stuff does.

Aye, iconic that, doesn't look it's age at all.
I'm so unlucky that if there is such a thing as re-incarnation I'll come back as me!

Hans muth did a pretty good job of a few bikes around that time. I don't know if this was his own hand, but if it was it's his best I reckon. Waddya think?

Bike looks good but don't like the Srad or possibly Busa swingarm, it looks too short...
Interesting it has an alternator mounted at the back of the engine that looks like it drives off the front sprocket, left engine case looks gsxr and much slimmer than the original so the flywheel has been removed. this idea would probably come from endurance racing where you need to charge the battery, short circuit racing you don't need to so most tuned racing Kats fit a blanking plate cover. It's not nice when you deck the stock left casing on the track, I did it a few times on the race Kat, it never threw me off but came very close at times.

It's an 1100SXZ the only one I know of in the UK, Originally an Australian model very limited numbers produced just so they could race them in the Castrol/Bathurst 6 hour races back in the 80's. The spoke wheels were lighter and different size to standard wheels, this allowed better tyre choice for racing. they are worth a lot of money these days in Australia. Not that one though it's a bit battered and bruised
