Reluctant sale

Post by lockwood1956 »

Have put deposit down on a pan European today. Because of injuries sustained in car accident in january I cant ride the storm without it causing me tons of pain. Have handlebar conversion ready to fit, but I think it will take more than that to sort my issues :(

Totally gutted as I love the bike.

They have offered me £1750 part exchange for mine, I thought I would see if anyone on here was interested. Lot of bike for that sort of money

1998, scott oiler, manual CCT's , mosfet regulator, upgraded rear suspension, Rogered forks, rear hugger 21,640 miles

Ah that's a shame mate.

1750 for a part exchange sounds like a really good deal. I've seen them on eBay for way less.

Hope you can still make the meets, everyone's welcome no matter the bike.

Bar conversion not going with the bike no

Clamps with handlebar adapters( new) and 1 1/2 inch rise chrome bars, (new) plus flat bars (2nd hand aluminium painted
Honda 600 master cylinder and calipers ( calipers may need some work, don't know as they just arrived) and braided hoses, ( 2 front and 1 rear) new banjo bolts (5 including double one for master cylinder) and 7 new copper washers

Cost me around £270 for all this kit

£150 seem reasonable?

** edit**
Also to include brand new teeny tiny hel master cylinder reservoir ( will need bracket making)
