headlight

Post by markc »

my storm's going in the garage on friday for some work, i removed all the fairing but didn't realise the headlight was all part of it. Does anybody know where i stand if i ride to the garage without fairing and headlight with regards to the law? Is it a legal requirement to have a headlight cos you can get daytime mots (not sure if these need headlights)?
Cheers

Kinda depends on what time you're gonna take the bike in. If its not gonna be too dark you should be fine.
I went past 3 plod cars last year on the way to a track day at Silverstone with my duck race fairing on and no headlight

No headlight required in the day time (as you can get day time only MOT)but must have one if its on the road at night
