Hey folks!
32 year old man from Kongsberg, Norway here. Bought my first bike in 2009, a black VTR, but after som troubles with the engine, it didn't run for two years. When I finally got it on the road again, it took two weeks before I smashed into a car who didn't see me coming... So I bought a 2007 VFR 800, but sold it after a year.
I still have my Black Stud, and these days I'm doing some work and hope to get it back on the road this year, or in 2017.
Hope to get some tips and trix from you guys, and I'm looking forward to check out the forum here

Best regards Eilev Aakre

Wow you have been threw the wars with that bike then. Was the engine front cylinder CCT failure by any chance. So what's the damage then. What do you have planned for her.

I was lucky! Got time to hit the brakes before the incident.
The damages on the bike is instruments, front fairings and front forks. Even though it layed on it's side it didn't get any marks og scrubs on cans. Even the front brake handle is one piece :biggrin But those where original ones, so I will change them into small ones. You've probably seen my other post here, "My VTR". That's where I will come up with plans and progress ;)

About the earlier engine-problems, we just changed the whole engine, and the old one is still at the mechanic, and we both have forgotten about it for a while :p

Thanx for a warm welcome
