Hi folks
Newbie here, just picked up a Yellow 1998 Firestorm last week, would like to know what colour the wheels should be. Currently the spokes and hubs are black with chrome polished rims which I am not too keen on.
Tried looking at a few pics of advertised bikes but I have seen gold, black and some silver wheels.
Cheers
Rich
PS - also crapping myslef about the CCT having read the workshop section last night.
What colour should my wheels be?

thanks for all the replies........red sounds CRAAAAZY, would like to see a pic of that.
Prefer things standard myself so might put them back to black. I have a few things on my shopping list, need to get a standard lower fairing and get rid of the aftermarket one, just missed one on eBay on Saturday night
Also looking out for a set of tyres as they are on the wear indicators.
Baz
The storm is a great bike, only had it a week and love it. Also have a Hornet and the twin's got miles more character and is far more fun to ride. I am in Hedge End, so not far from you, will defo have to meet up and go for a burn.

Portsdown hill is that big white cliff you can see from the M27 on your left as you go to portsmouth, There is always loads of bikes there most evenings and all weekend. It,s just a car park on the top of the hill but has a burger bar there all the time and it serves the biggest and tastiest burgers you have ever seen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would be interested in the mod you have done....sounds very interesting. I have been away all week (since I started reading this site) so dying to get back and start up the bike and listen to it as I throttle off and see if I can hear tapping noises. Thanks mate
