Where to go for a Dyno?

Post by Hush »

Hi, anyone recommend a good Dyno between SE London and Tunbridge Wells area? Just switched from a ZX6-r to a firestorm. I absolutely love it. It is an import though so wouldn't mind checking its not restricted, also I've got race cans, which pop a bit so would like to check it not running lean. Then of course theres always the chance of jetting it. Out of interest where's the best place to get a jet kit?

Thanks for your help.

They all seem to pop abit for some reason it just seems to be a trait of v-twins. Mine has done it since i got it and when i had it dyno'd and the fuelling checked it was fine. You sometimes get a popping if theres an air leak on the cans, might be worth a check

Hush, stay away from BHP at Brands. I know from mates who have taken their bikes there and i have also taken mine there. I think there is a new place at Brands now down the same row as BHP. There is also place in Orpinton that does it and are very good with a great rep. Their name escapes me at the mo. I will try to find out there name.

Hi Saint, I'm in Blackheath, definitely up for a pint or a ride (preferably when it warms up a bit!)

This is getting better.. mates with bikes who also have mates with pubs!

Either of you on the blue firestorm with leather tank cover and grab rails? I was following said bike back from bluewater yesterday, naturally with missus on the back... I never go there out of choice!

Beautiful. Look forward to seeing your bike, was very tempted to hold off getting mine for a black one, but couldn't resist the condition and mileage mine was in!
