You've done a fantastic job with the bike, it looks ace

I reckon they'd like to have that displayed at the Endurance legends weekend at Donington, and a chance for you to take it round the track too

IMO I don't think it's finished until the Spondon arm is back in place :Woohoo:

While the tail still looks too high....should be even with the tank, it is looking good.
The color always reminds me of a Gulf sponsored 917 but I'm just old

Now for the sidecar...well you would need a new avatar.....

If it's like my Spondon arm they are a flat needle type bearing and sit in a shallow cap.

.
Rob you can get new Dymags, a little expensive though. Maybe you could send your wheel off to Dymag for them to check and sort the carrier ?

as for the bearings. i havnt got the old ones as they were seized on the sleeve that runs from the ears into the swingarm :confused ..they had to be cut out.

now.. i know a man has a new carrier for a dymag but one other little issue is the lefthand chain adjuster is damaged :sad2 , thats a whole different type of thing to find, but i will as i want to see that big old chunker of a swinger back in.

The Bearings you need wear made by Spondon in house
As long a you know the size of the gap needing filled you can get the flat roller type and spacers for the bearing to run
The spacers can be different sizes
Which leaves you making up two cups for these to sit in
All you need is a fairy with a lathe to do this bit

And there's a wee little leprechaun with a wheelbarrow watching over it. Is that an ashtray hanging on the wall outside your door.

It will never be done as you will always find something else to add / change. When are you going to sort out that sprocket cover. The wheels look like they have a two toe colour to them in the sunlight. Very nice.
