MORE big lumps mac lol

so d-day today the final cuts.

started today with this.

Image

sized to length and the new diameter for the kawa disc. iv also made a swarf mountain in the making of this dam thing.

Image

but that left me with a problem, how the hell to bolt it to the wheel so heres were i hope id got the internal bores right on the other end or it would fall to bits when i put the profile into it to allow for the mounting bolts :eek2

Image

well it didnt fall to bits so thats a result.

i actually feel chuffed how it turned it. a few days of my life il not get back but sure its winter. i now have to drill it but thats the easy bit :eek2 .

Image

but did it fit? like a glove. for peace of mind the carrier is a press fit onto the wheel and the same with the disc so all iv to do it drill it,bolt it up and i should be good to go

Nice work Rob, well done 8)

I like the way you have made the carrier a press fit for both the wheel and the disc, very clever :D

Thanks for posting up the pic's,

Chris.

I can see why you were thinking about fitting another wheel bearing in the new carrier now, as that would also help in keeping the carrier central from the wheel spindle,

Chris.

Make them captive, saves faffing when wheel changing.
