I do like the yellow ones. They were all a bit too nicely kept for my budget though.

I'm a bit late to the party, but welcome! :)

There's a couple of us around Ayrshire with Storms (myself/geordie) but I don't think either of us are doing many miles just now....

Whereabouts in Ayrshire are you?

Matt and Chippy,

either of you had a look in the sunday runs section for the SW Scotland trip in Aug?

we will be based on the edge of Loch ken this year, but we will still be doing the Dalry / Ayr / Girvin / Newton Stewart / New Gallowy loop on one of the days, so would be great to see a few more local faces

Hey Al,

Yep - I've got it marked on my calendar to try and meet up with you lads, just not sure if I'll get the time.

I'll confirm on the thread nearer the time if I'll make it!

Still only done 2 tanks of fuel on the Triumph since July...

I'm in Prestwick. Sorry it's taken so long to acknowledge your post. I have not been on here much as I didn't have the bike.

I actually got to ride the bike today for the first time. It's going to take some getting used to but I think I like the feel of it. I was a bit nervous as hadn't ridden a bike since August and the last five years up to then have only ridden VFR1200s.

It's a bit rough around the edges but I think will come good with a bit of TLC. It certainly feels nice and solid - particularly the gear changes.

I may well be up for joining in on that loop. There's a chance we may be away then but we'll see.

I'm in Prestwick.
My hometown! :)

There's another couple of Storms in Prestwick, both of which get out even less than I do though...

Will keep an eye out for you this year - if you see a random person waving at you, it'll be me

I think you might want to rephrase that last sentence :eh:
