Factory Pro Kit and Ignition Advancer
Hi all, I have been getting prices for a Factory Pro carb kit and they are saying they will do a package deal which will include a Ignition advancer, just wondered had any one gone this root and was it worth it or just to stick with the ti jet kit, Thanks in advance,

You can order dynojet needles and clips from official distributor as spare parts (2x DNO277 and DE0001). Nothing more is needed. I believe it is possible, it was no problem for carb springs and price was ok.

I've spoken to Roger about ignition advancers and his view is they are not worth it. His race maps had an advance in the mid-range but we're retarded higher up so a +2, or whatever, across the whole range isn't the best.

He didn't say, except that Geritt ten Kate did them.for him. I didn't make any notes with not expecting to look at this. I reckon he'd provide the info if asked.fabiostar wrote: ↑Sat Jan 06, 2018 4:46 pmthe race maps? what sorta ignition was he running? something iv never asked him about.freeridenick wrote: ↑Sat Jan 06, 2018 1:08 pm I've spoken to Roger about ignition advancers and his view is they are not worth it. Ignitech is fine and really easy to install and use, but you can have troubles to get it, not sure about their customer service in UK.fabiostar wrote: ↑Sat Jan 06, 2018 4:46 pmthe race maps? what sorta ignition was he running? something iv never asked him about.freeridenick wrote: ↑Sat Jan 06, 2018 1:08 pm I've spoken to Roger about ignition advancers and his view is they are not worth it. I found the ignition advancer +4’ stopped the carb farts
Re: Factory Pro Kit and Ignition Advancer
As did I, however it runs hotter and a four-row oil cooler was needed to overcome this.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

An SP one, with adaptors and flexible braided stainless hoses made up by Pirtek.
Not cheap, about 100 five years ago, and other coolers are available.
