Misfire ,loosing power running on one cylinder

Can anyone give Me pointers with My Firestorm its driving Me wombles crazy at minute .It runs really rough ride it and it goes ok for a while then when I start too ride it hard it just stops like its run out of fuel then starts ok but pops and bangs and runs on one cylinder it really stinkes of fuel like it might be flooding.Ive tried changing plugs checked leads fiddled around with vacuum/breather hoses but dont seem to be getting anywhere ride it steady aroun 55/60 mph and it goes ok ish but as soon as I start too use it properly the problems start.I need too sort out as im fed up of sitting on the side of dark roads waiting for the bike to start behaving so I can get home!

I dont really know history of bike so dont know about whether jets etc have been changed as the bike runs on race tailpipes of unknown origin.

any help would be really appriciated

Sounds like a problem I had last year................

Turned out to be water in the tank , apparently
