Storm Meet 2005??
Did the original thread for this get deleted too??
Weren't there plans for a meet over the summer around the lake district? Kaz?? Can we get this thread started again - would be a bit of craic to have a meet and get suitably drunk

Me and a mate are going to be stopping off in Bowness on Windermere for a week from the 18th of June.
There was some interest from the Northerners on meeting, around that time, but the Southern softies sounded reluctant to make the effort.
The Windermere Hydro Hotel had some good weekend deals for that time.
If I can find the web address I will post it.
Found it, 3 nights DBB between 27th May and 23 Sept £125.00 (arrive Fri)

I thought the original idea was to meet around the lake district somewhere, not that I care where it is - why not make it somewhere central for everyone. Us Paddy's can get a ferry to Liverpool or Holyhead so it doesn't really matter to us where it is (err, try not to make it too far to the East tho ).

Lowestoft....Lowestoft.... f**kin' hell, you're damn right it's out!!!
415 petrol stops later..... Think of the Esso points I could get. I'd be able to buy the missus that teapot she's always wanted!
Oh, and have a bit left over to buy RQ a new screen, nose fairing, and right side mirror for his BB.... yup, guess who dropped his bike at the weekend! What a numptie!

Ah Chris, you young grasshopper, with time you will also learn to kick RQ when he's down ha ha ha! He's almost in the rozzers, and when that ba*tard gets into the traffic corps I'm f**ked!!
He had literally left the house about 5 minutes and I get the call....
He stopped at the local garage near me, stuck the bike up on the centre stand and there was this big gap in the concrete on the forecourt - bike just toppled away from him, no way you'd hold that yoke! We taped up the mirror best we could and he went home on the Monday - long way to drive with no screen!!!

Hi Johnny,
Ahh, we never had the full story before, so does that mean RQ will be getting a Pan European?
cheers Chris.
