Hello all. Thanks for remembering me. Good to see some familiar names still going.
That was my 50th out the way.
Finally after 8 years of no bike I put money down on a 2006 triumph sprint 1050 ST. Looking forward to getting back on 2 wheels.

aye Chris, it seems clean enough, dealer doing a service, MOT and fitting 2 new tires, i hope to get it next week. there are a couple of bits i'll take off over the winter and get powder coated like the footrest hangers which were a bit scuffed up, but that seemed to be it.

took it for a test ride, not as lumpy as a firestorm and not as howly as a 4 cylinder, being a triple it really is somewhere in the middle, it was comfy as well. looking forward to picking it up now, been missing a bike for far to long now.

I'm sure you'll get the bike as you want it over the winter Kev
You're nearly selling the ideal of a triple to me in your 2nd sentence  I know three cylinders sound good with a half decent pipe. I would say they are somewhere in the middle too.

I hope you enjoy the new bike.

You've been a member on here a little longer than me, and that's saying something

She looks a beaut.
I very nearly went for one of those myself when I was looking to replace mine. Ticks all the right boxes, but then I realised I'm not old enough to choose a bike that sensible

Congrats on the new purchase Kev
