Bike won't start

Post by Stormin Ben »

Another one to add to the 'Hall of Stupidity'

Finally got the bike back together after a winter of twatting about with it, including tank off, carbs off stuff etc
Tried for 10 mins to get it started but to no avail.

1) Fuel & vacuum pipes on the right way -check
2) Fuel tap on -check (although I did put the tank on before spotting the bright yellow sticker saying 'fuel tap' -doh!!
3) Battery charged -check
4) Sparks good -check

Goddam it, oh well back indoors for a beer and forget about it

After a couple of 'mind lubricators' I remembered that the last time I used the Storm was the trackday at Oulton.
The self same one where I did the entire last session with the fuel light on

Hmm, next day pop to the garage with trusty fuel can and put 5 litres in the tank.
Starts first prod!!

Wahey
